Since 1985, Fitness West has thrived as Pacific Beach’s favorite family-owned and operated gym. We have been serving our community for over 40 years with a simple philosophy: treat our customers as we would want to be treated.
Our goal is to provide a clean, friendly, non-intimidating, hassle-free environment where anybody (regardless of age or conditioning level) will feel comfortable working out and living a healthy lifestyle. With 6300 sq. ft of workout space, we pride ourselves on never feeling too crowded.
Our facility features an expertly selected array of exercise equipment including: elliptical machines, treadmills, stair-climbers, upright and recumbent Lifecycle bikes, spin bikes, rowing machines, free weights and a complete circuit of Nautilus machines.
Our studio is specifically designed for our group exercise classes which include: Yoga, Spin, Core N Strength Training, and Pilates.

"Great and friendly environment, never too crowded, and the owners and employees obviously put a lot of care into it. Not as large as a big chain commercial gym but it has everything you need and is gonna be cheaper as well!"
